Scorpion season 4 episode 3 spoilers: The future of Happy, Toby

What lies ahead on Scorpion season 4 episode 3, and are we going to have a chance to see a big Happy and Toby story? “Grow a Deer, a Female Deer” is the title for this episode, and the main story this time around seems to be deviating from the two-part “Extinction” story that began last week with Mark Collins and a potential threat facing the entire human race.

What we actually like about this upcoming story is that compared to what we just saw, this actually may be a smaller, more intimate story. We do like having opportunities for this occasionally on this show, mostly because if every Team Scorpion mission is the same week in and week out there’s really not all that much of a show here in the end.

Now, let’s get to sharing some more information regarding what is coming up on the CBS series:

Scorpion season 4 episode 3 synopsis – “When poachers almost kill a pregnant endangered deer, Team Scorpion recreates the animal’s womb to try to save it and its baby’s life. Also, Happy and Toby discuss the future of their family, on SCORPION, Monday, Oct. 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”

One more thing we’ll say about the case is that we’re hoping that there is some sort of environmental message in here about helping the world and making it a better place. Also, endangered species deserve to be protected, and unfortunately in the midst of the hundred of other stories going on in the world there are not all that many stories

Do we want to see Happy and Toby expand their family someday? Sure, but we would be fairly surprised if it happens this quickly, just because we are still in the first part of the season and they just got married. Then again, maybe the producers feel the need to start to move things along faster given that this show is experiencing some ratings drops; what better time than the present then to start to give you some stories that push some characters forward? It’s at least something to consider.

As for the episode’s promo below, you do see that the slightly-higher stakes of this episode are going to come when the poachers do their best to take out the team, which somehow empowers Walter enough to sport some cool shades and act as though he is the resident killing machine of the team. Ironically, he acts like the Terminator here even though franchise star Robert Patrick is a part of this show.
