NCIS season 15 spoilers: More insight into Maria Bello’s arrival

Maria Bello's arrival

Maria Bello’s arrival on NCIS season 15 is going to be one of the main events coming up, and really for good reason. After all, you’ve been hearing about Jack Sloane for a good while now, including that she is this skilled criminal profiler and she has this great dynamic with Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon).

One of the things that we’ve heard a little bit less about as of late, though, is what her dynamic could be like with some of the other characters — including Sean Murray’s own Timothy McGee. Out of all of the agents she could work with he is one of the ones that has the most experience. With that in mind, we imagine that these two are going to have some opportunities to spend some time together at some point. That’s virtually confirmed by what Murray said recently to Entertainment Tonight:

“Maria is really wonderful and such a cool, down-to-earth person. It’s great having her there. Her character is a really interesting psychologist profiler and McGee actually gets to do some work with her early on when she first joins the agency. That was a blast to do that. We filmed some stuff out of order, so I got to film some heavier stuff with Maria early on. It was kind of our introduction. We had a blast.”

Murray also told the publication that one of the more entertaining dynamics to film on the upcoming season in general was seeing how some of the other characters all end up interacting with the character, mostly because when you spend time with a profiler there is this latest temptation to think that they may be profiling you — even if that is not actually the case. It’s still understandable to have that sort of fear if you’re unfamiliar with the work that they do; who knows? Maybe this will be a source of comedy during some of Bello’s first episodes, as you need a little bit of that humor to make NCIS what it is.
