Marvel’s Inhumans episode 3 spoilers: Making do on Earth

When Marvel’s Inhumans episode 3 airs on ABC next week, the show will be shifting towards a once-a-week format. It’s also going to continue on the fish-out-of-water story that we got within the first two hours. These are people who are gone from their home and what they know, and now have to figure out a way to survive without each other, and in a completely different home than they’ve ever known before. What we like about the premise of this show alone is that you’ve got people with these amazing abilities, but they’re in such an environment that they don’t know when the right time is to use them. That leads to some humorous moments, but also probably some frustrating ones for them.

Eventually, the goal seems pretty clear: Trying to find a way to stop Maximus by whatever means necessary. Next week’s new episode should be the foundation to that story.

Marvel’s Inhumans episode 3 synopsis – “After fleeing their home, The Inhumans desperately search for each other in the wake of Maximus’ coup. Now they must learn who they can trust on Earth.”

It’s a shame that the team doesn’t just look towards SHIELD to get a little bit of help, given the fact that he seems like the perfect team to lend a helping hand here and they know their way around Inhumans! Unfortunately, signs point to there not being any major crossovers coming up between the two shows … at least based on the information out there. We’ll see if that ends up being different than expected over time.

We at CarterMatt are certainly excited to see what’s coming up on the remainder of the show, but at the same time anxious about the ratings already. There are some diehard fans of the property out there who have already seen it in IMAX, so with that we’re fearful that it will get off to a weak premiere and incite some sort pf panic as a result of that. Do we want that? Absolutely not, but it is the sort of thing we have to prepare ourselves for with this show.
