Jennifer Hudson on The Voice, DWTS elimination, Kesha, Macklemore on Ellen
Jennifer Hudson on The Voice
This season The Voice has a new face in one of the coach’s chairs. Jennifer Hudson is joining the cast to help find the next singer to win the competition. Viewers of the show can hardly wait to see what the new singing stars might bring to the stage. Known for her amazing performance, the accomplished star has a lot to give to an up and coming performer and fans will get to watch every move she makes. Hooray for The Voice’s excellent decision on their new coach!
Young Sheldon
If you haven’t heard, the highly anticipated show Young Sheldon will be airing on CBS tonight. Technically it’s not a season premiere (that’s in November) but it’s the viewer’s first chance to see Sheldon Cooper when he was 9 years old. There have been a lot of opinions over this series (both good and bad) and to that I say hold on. The viewers (people like you and me) need to see the show before we buy into any of the critical TV structuring offered by other critics. Give the show a chance to see how it fits into The Big Bang Theory world and let fans decide on the show’s fate. If you’re interested in learning a bit more about the man behind Sheldon’s father, be sure to check out CarterMatt’s exclusive interview with Lance Barber at the link here.
Dancing With the Stars elimination
Grab your box of tissues! Dancing With the Stars eliminations begin tonight with one unlucky star going home. While some fans are always frustrated with the first cut, over the years the individuals who didn’t make it past the first show still managed to create a strong bond. Yes, it’s hard to believe, but it’s become a little celebrity club where a limited few can brag they went home first. I guess you have to make the best out of every situation, but the fans are still going to be sad over who is hanging up their dancing shoes.
Kesha, Macklemore perform on Ellen
The talent whizzing through The Ellen Show has always been top notch. Fans in the audience have come to expect an intimate performance while viewers at home want to see a breathtaking moment. Perhaps that’s why when Macklemore and Kesha performed on The Ellen Show, it was so perfect. The duo sang Good Old Days on the Ellen stage and it really was touching. If you haven’t seen the performance, take a peek.
And Finally….
Chuck Norris made a huge impact on TV today back in 1993. The iconic figure debuted the action series Walker, Texas Ranger on CBS on this day and it ran for eight seasons until 2001. Reruns of the popular series are still watched by viewers nightly today as the show can be seen on late night cable!
