Big Brother 19 finale: Did Paul Abrahamian or Josh Martinez win?
We’re going to fill in some of the finer details later about the episode and the season as a whole, but for now, we wanted to create a post announcing the winner and also sharing the initial reaction.
Even before the episode aired, we knew that we were going to be getting to see a showdown between Paul Abrahamian and Josh Martinez in the final two. Both said that they were planning to take each other to the end of the game, and there was no reason to think that they were going to drift from that during the show. We did think that this was a mistake for Josh at the time to think that way!
In the end, it felt like (at least to us) that if Paul made it to the final two, he was going to win … That should have happened. Instead, Josh won and we’re questioning everything. We will have more soon, but … Wow.
Do you think the right person won Big Brother 19? Be sure to share some of your thoughts with a comment below!

This by far is the worst thing that could have happened. Paul played arguable the best game in BB history this season, won 9 comps, had an excellent social game, and never was on the block. He was on the radar all season and still not only avoided eviction, but avoided being nominated. Paul deserves to go down as one of the BB greats!! Everyone who thinks Paul is the bully is flat out crazy. Cody was the real bully this season, even Julie Chen said so.
Paul stood up for the house and faced down one of the biggest bullies we have seen on BB. Because of his courage to stand up to Cody most of America wrongly labeled him a bully. Paul went toe to toe with Cody and got him evicted twice, ending the war that Cody brought on himself and the house. All in all Paul deserved to win, he outplayed everyone, and if it wasn’t for a bunch of idiot jury members (cough Elena, Alex, Jason, cough) who forgot what show they were on, he would have won yet another season that he was the best player. It’s sad when even Raven was smart enough to see common sense. After watching another heartbreaking loss it leaves one to question if BB is even worth watching again.

I gotta say even though I knew that Josh would take Paul, when it was final, I walked around the house for 10 minutes, saying — wrong, wrong, WRONG…I thought for sure that he had just lost the game, so while, I don’t think that Josh played the best game, I am THRILLED that he beat Paul, with all of his bullying and shenanigans…Paul did not look happy AT all at the end of the show…and at this point, I did’t really care that Cody won AFP, had no affect on me, I was sooooo happy that Josh beat Paul that even Cody winning that award, made no difference to me….
