Scorpion season 4 episode 3 spoilers: A deer story; Happy, Toby news
Scorpion season 4 episode 3 is entitled “Grow a Deer, A Female Deer,” and you can see a few more details about it in the synopsis below:
“When poachers almost kill a pregnant endangered deer, Team Scorpion recreates the animal’s womb to try to save it and its baby’s life. Also, Happy and Toby discuss the future of their family, on SCORPION, Monday, Oct. 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.”
Are we altogether shocked to learn that Happy and Toby are going to be looking more towards their future? Not exactly. They’re married now, and there was a time in which the subject of Happy being pregnant was already broached. They’re prepared to have these conversations; as for whether or not they want to officially start trying to expand Team Scorpion by ways of a new baby, that remains to be seen. This storyline should be mostly interesting just from the vantage point of learning where they are in their lives as a married couple; also, it addresses a loose threat that would be dangling otherwise. From the moment that the two were married, the questions about kids and the future of course start coming up. This is a way for the show to address the subject, while moving onto to some other things. They can choose to pick this up at some point in the future provided that they really want to do so.
For now, there are some other relationships that the show also has to focus on — Walter and Paige are of course at the center of the show, but so are a number of other relationships that are not romantic. A part of what makes the show so exciting at this point is that there are so many different bonds between the team that can be adequately explored.
