Ray Donovan season 5 episode 7 spoilers: What’s ahead for Ray and Mickey?
Instead, what seems a little bit more likely with this show and the relationship that exists between the two of them is that Mickey screws something up, and then Ray has to find a way in order to bail him out. This is something that we’ve seen on the show many times before, it will be one of the key themes moving into the upcoming “If I Should Fall from Grace with God,” airing next week. This title is reflective in so many ways of the difficult relationship that exists between Ray and religion. He’s always felt a certain connection to it because of his upbringing, but there are still many difficulties when it comes to reconciling some of that with some of his actions. This is not a man who often operates through the lens of doing whatever he thinks is going to make him the most godly when the dust settles.
Anyhow, be sure to check out the official synopsis below via Showtime if you do want to score some additional news regarding what is coming up on the episode next.
Ray Donovan season 5 episode 7 synopsis – “For Bunchy’s sake, Ray is forced to step in and save Mickey from himself. Terry returns to LA with a devastating confession. Daryll and Mickey butt heads over the direction of their movie. Bunchy helps out a fellow inmate – on the condition that he’ll help retrieve the settlement money. And one Donovan goes to extreme measures to protect the family.”
There isn’t as much explicitly said here on the subject of Ray’s history and the past, which is mostly interesting given how much we’ve seen of that, and the story of Abby that led to her dying of cancer, for most of the season. Nonetheless, we do continue to anticipate that this is going to have a fairly significant role in the story one way or another coming up.
