Chicago Fire season 6 cast photo: See Taylor Kinney, Jesse Spencer, more

A new Chicago Fire season 6 cast photo has made its way onto the internet, and there is a good bit to be excited about here! This is probably true a thousand times over if you considering yourself a big-time fan of Jesse Spencer, Christian Stolte, or Taylor Kinney. After all, all three of these performers are featured in it!

We know that the easy thing to do upon looking at this is to assume that this means that Casey, Mouch, and Severide are all surviving the season 5 finale cliffhanger, but that’s not necessarily the case. Remember that prior to Lauren German leaving the show, Leslie Shay was also prominently featured in that season’s promotional photos. (She was simply removed after the fact.)

If nothing else, this Chicago Fire season 6 cast photo does confirm that the folks over at NBC are consistent with how they want to market their show, and we want to view it as optimism just because we really love the show and the people who are on it. Plus, they’re a lot of story left to tell with all of these guys! Take a look at some signature CarterMatt speculation on all of that below.

Casey – How does he react to nearly dying in the fire, and risking is life in order to tell his wife how much he loves her? Where do the two parties go from here? We know that he’s someone who has huge ambitions, but we assume that he would also want to consider getting his family on track after a fairly rocky season 5 for him and his wife.

Mouch – We actually see him as one of the more intriguing characters on the show right now just because even if he does survive, does that mean that he still wants to be working at Firehouse 51? He had an offer to change careers at the end of last season, and he was certainly considering it to the point where he proclaimed that he was going out to stop his last fire before his life was thrown into peril for multiple reasons.

Severide – Kelly’s story is one of recovery right now, given that he had tried to make himself a better person and find a relationship with someone in Anna who could’ve been his soulmate. However, that was taken away from him when her cancer came back. Where is he now? We don’t envision that this is the sort of thing that has gravitated all that much from his mind since it last happened.
