Snowfall season 2 premiere date speculation for FX drama

Following tonight’s big finale, the big question on everyone’s minds is: When is the Snowfall season 2 premiere date? As far as CarterMatt is concerned, we’d like to see this show come back tomorrow if possible since this was such a great show. Alas, television doesn’t quite work that way where you can blink and all of the new episodes are on the air. There’s going to be a bit of a waiting game as there is for all good things in life.

The first thing that we want to do here is confirm that there is going to be a second season of the series coming to the network, so let’s take a moment to celebrate that. It was renewed earlier this summer on the strength of not only good numbers, but also very consistent numbers. It would’ve been one thing for Snowfall to deliver some pretty-solid ratings, but what matters more was how they were able to keep them pretty close to where they were at around episode 3 for the remainder of its run. This is the sort of thing that could help it to get a season 3 or 4 down the road. It may be a little too early to start seriously thinking that way, but we often find ourselves in a position where we can’t help it when a show is this good.

Let’s get back to the root of this story once more: Discussing the possible Snowfall season 2 premiere date. When is this show going to come back? Odds are, it’ll be around again next summer based on the time in which it was renewed. It makes a lot of sense to bring the show back at a time in which viewers are already familiar with it, and to go along with that, it also makes some sense to do so when there’s not as much competition out there on some rival networks. Give the show a chance to build a solid following here, and see what sort of benefits come your way from streaming data over the next couple of months.

One of the craziest things to think about here in regards to Snowfall and its overall potential is this: The majority of viewers out there who would like this show have never actually seen it. They don’t know anything about it outside of just the promos, or maybe they haven’t even seen that! There was another show about a drug trade that was built heavily on word-of-mouth, and that was Breaking Bad. We don’t want to throw those sort of expectations on this show by any means, but we do think that its audience could blossom out of more people learning about it from word of mouth and social media.
