Power season 5 premiere date speculation, hopes for Starz series
Unfortunately, now is not the time for answers to start trickling in on this subject, and we are all going to be waiting for a little while longer to see when this said premiere date is going to be. Knowing Starz’s history, they will likely announce the news one way or another when we get around to either late April or early May 2018. There is no reason for them announce the news before then, only to squander whatever sort of goodwill they get from the premiere-date announcement in terms of publicity.
As for whether or not this could be the final season of the show, that still remains to be seen — but we doubt it. Starz already renewed the show for a fifth season, but it remains one of their most-watched dramas and has a devoted following. While you hear at times various frustrations from star/executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson about not getting extra episodes or not getting the proper amount of awards-show consideration, we don’t think those frustrations are turning into the show ending anytime soon. We see it more as venting, which we absolutely understand.
Beyond the Power season 5 premiere date, it’s hard to detail too many expectations for the show’s future without accidentally also spoiling something important that could be coming up. Were we to theorize about some of the stories that should be coming, we do want to see more of James the businessman given that so much of the fourth season threw his personal and professional live into the same cauldron. It would be effective to see how he gets his professional life together again after everything that he has gone through, including the loss of his daughter. Will this experience, plus being wrongfully accused, lead to him getting a chance to boost his career? Or, will it be found to be more of a detriment than anything that he can be proud of? In his world, we consider both of these distinct possibilities in their own right.
As for everyone else, we would like to explore more of Tommy’s backstory independently of Ghost and get a little bit more of Kanan on a regular basis. If he’s going to be back as a part of the show, what is he doing from one day to the next? How is he functioning now? You cannot forget that at the end of season 2, it looked like there was almost no way for him to still be alive. Now, he’s wandering around as though there was never any problem at all.
