Bachelor in Paradise 4 spoilers: Daniel Maguire returns; someone leaves

Daniel Maguire

If there are two words that can be used to describe Bachelor in Paradise the majority of the time, they would be “hot mess.” This looks to be the perfect way to describe Monday night’s new episode especially. You’ve still go the Dean Unglert drama going on with both Kristina and Danielle, and then you also have Jasmine Goode stirring things up while Daniel Maguire turns up to … well, be Daniel Maguire. The man is a hoot, but we also don’t quite believe that he’s ever going to leave this show engaged to anyone.

For some more teases, why not check out either the promo or synopsis below?

“At the rose ceremony, one man, who is interested in two women, has to choose one to give his rose to, knowing that the other one will probably be going home, while another man finds himself torn between the “right option” and the “more exciting option.” Unlike the others, another man has no trouble deciding between the two ladies interested in him, but he gets an earful from the livid loser when she realizes that there is not a man in Paradise who will give her a rose.

One popular player has tough talks with both of his not-so-secret admirers, but finds it too difficult to choose between them and leaves Paradise before handing out his rose. Word of his departure spreads, shocking all, and leaving some scrambling for the few roses that might still be up for grabs.

Host Chris Harrison has an even bigger surprise in store when he introduces a new arrival just as the rose ceremony is about to begin.”

That new arrival, judging from some of the promo material that is already out there, is Daniel. Maybe at that point he will provide some levity, given that there could be some frustrations and relationship paranoia unfolding with some of the other people in the house at that point. There are some stable relationships (Derek and Taylor seems to be the strongest one at the moment), but there are also some other ones here and there that we could see breaking apart by the end of the season.

One of the craziest things about this season is actually remembering now that we’re almost at the end of the road. Because of the break in production, the cast was actually together less with the cameras rolling than any other in the show’s history. While we do know that Paradise does like to root for couples to end up together and get engaged, it seems unlikely that this will happen this season. Maybe you get that with Derek and Taylor, but even with them it feels a little bit soon.

The main event this coming week

The interview with Chris Harrison and Corinne Olympios is what is generating the majority of the headlines, which is probably frustrating to some of the other people who are coming back onto the show for fame. If you want to read more of what Corinne has to say about that and her future plans now, you can do so over at the link here. (Photo: ABC.)
