Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Jason, Alex at odds over Kevin (day 68, morning)

Big Brother

After a good bit of boredom in the Big Brother 19 house, isn’t it nice to report on a little bit of solid drama for a change? We like to think so!

Last night, there was certainly a little bit of that as a rift broke out between Jason, Alex, and much of the rest of the house over what to do with the nominations. Jason won Head of Household, and in turn he also has the Veto. He is in control of what he wants to do for the week. He has Matt and Raven on the block, and clearly, he wants to get Matt out of the game this week. He feels like he doesn’t do anything and cannot stand the showmance. To him, that matters more than anything else.

Meanwhile, Alex wants out Kevin, as do many other people now, mostly because of him being “sketchy” and a lot of other stuff that Paul has spun out over time about the game. He’s been demonized the most out of the remaining players, and with that, it makes the most sense that he would be targeted. We’ll see if there is any change to the plan between now and Monday, given that Alex may try to apply more pressure to him to make the move that her side of the house wants. The one thing that is apparently clear, judging from what Jason said last night, is that he’s upset that some people in the house were trying to hoodwink him into nominating Kevin so that Kevin could be voted out of the game. Alex responded to such a comment by trying to put together some sort of nonsense argument about jury, but she really didn’t get anywhere. The problem that Alex runs into is that there’s no logical reason for Jason to change his nominations; also, nothing matters all that much for him anyway given that unless he or Alex win select competitions the rest of the way, he is going to be heading out the door.

Beyond the nomination talk, last night was stuffed full of the same sort of garbage that we’ve seen so many times over. Paul continues to mock Cody, Jason and Alex mocked Jessica, and everyone in general seemed fine to comment on how “weak” most of this season’s cast has been. The only thing that we can say on that is that “passive” is the better word for it. Too many people were just fine to make it to jury and nothing more — Matt and Raven were huge misses on the past of casting, and we do think that if you replace these two with two players who are even B-grade at the game, you probably have a much different season.

What do you think Jason should do the rest of the week in the Big Brother house? Share in some of the comment below!
