Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Endurance HoH expectations (day 65, afternoon)

endurance HoH

Tonight on Big Brother 19the next big moment of the summer is here: The latest endurance HoH competition. It’s a big one given that for the first time, the primary alliance will be completely forced to turn on each other.

So who needs to win this the most? Well, it may just be the person who is the most likely to win it when you consider how endurance competitions often favorite the small, athletic houseguests: Alex. Her #1 ally in Jason is likely going to be the target of almost everyone else in the house, and she needs to secure a win here. It also does help her resume in the event that she does make it all the way to the end of the season.

If Alex doesn’t win it, Jason needs to but we’re not sure that he’s built well for any of the comps that we tend to see at this point in the season. He’s already won the slip-and-slide one, which is one the he was equipped to do really well in based on his balance and athletic ability.

Beyond Alex, in theory you could see someone like a Raven or a Paul do well here, but one of the big issues that could come out there has to do very much with the hunger to win. Raven acts like she wants some power in the game, but the problem she’s running into here is that she hasn’t won anything yet. Therefore, it’s not easy to feel altogether confident in her chances at actually doing well. Meanwhile, Paul may not want to win given that he doesn’t want to be responsible for having to split up the couples and getting a huge target on his back. If he backstabs Alex and Jason, one of them is remaining in the game this week — also, he knows that no matter what happens, he’s probably safe for the week.

The ideal secondary target at the moment, at least based on where we are in the game right now, is probably Matt. If Alex or Jason win, they’ll likely just nominate Matt and Raven and remove one of the two of them from the equation. No matter what, this week should prove interesting given that there are some different ways that things could shake out and there’ll likely be more hurt feelings than we’ve seen in a good while.

This competition is set to play out LIVE tonight on the live feeds after tonight’s show — be sure to visit the link here at the conclusion of the season, since we’ll probably have an article that is all about live updates.

For the record, it doesn’t look as though anything is going to change between now and the end of the episode tonight. More than likely, we’re going to be seeing Mark going home unless he pulls some sort of enormous hail Mary. (Photo: CBS.)
