Crime Dynamic Duos: Bull (Bull / Benny) vs. NCIS: Los Angeles (Deeks / Kensi)
As much as we like these two shows, we like virtually all of the shows in the tournament this year! We’re on the precipice of round 3, and we’re excited to see which shows end up there. (For now, thanks to the tens of thousands of you who have voted!)
Who moves on to the next round? That’s totally up to you! Check out the poll at the bottom of the article.
Voting Rules – You may vote however much you want within the specified voting window. (The image above explains everything in terms of start and stop dates.) Still with us? Then let’s dive into this battle…
Bull and Benny, Bull (#3 seed) – Even though they’re somewhat the new kids on the block, it wasn’t hard to figure that these two would make it to round two. Weatherly’s incredibly-popular among CarterMatt readers, and we’ve got a soft spot for Freddy Rodriguez that dates all the way back to Six Feet Under. Bull and Benny won the first round of voting with around 65% of readers’ approval.
So what is coming up next for these two? Well, more cases, including some that could cause some professional jeopardy for Bull. After it was Benny who found himself in need of help last season (leading to the arrival of J.P. Nunnelly), the tables could be turned this time around.
Kensi and Deeks, NCIS: Los Angeles (#2 seed) – As for what’s so interesting about these two … well, do we really need to explain that? They’re excellent partners, a likable couple, and you obviously want to see them get married now that the two parties are actually together. They do each bring a lot of great stuff to the table and will moving forward into season 9 — though there could be some tension still over how quickly Deeks clues his mother in on the engagement.
Like with Bull and Benny, Kensi / Deeks ended up winning their round 1 showdown with around 65% of the vote — we would consider them the favorite to advance based on seeding alone, but we’ve seen some crazy stuff go down in this tournament already.
Now, let’s turn this over to you
