When Queen of the South season 2 episode 12 airs on USA Network next week, be prepared for a more determined Teresa than ever before. She’s a woman who has spent the majority of the second season in the throws of battle against multiple different opponents, and she may now be looking for the end of the road and a chance to breathe. Could she find it in the form of a battle against Camila? We know that she’s her big adversary right now, so she’s going to do just about anything that she can think of in order to properly claim victory.

We’re certainly down for seeing an even more proactive Teresa, though we also don’t think that she’s spent the majority of this season sitting idly by. She’s in a position where she needs to have a little bit of both timing and circumstance on her side, and with the right people on her side, she may be able to claim the victory that she seeks. Of course, the operative word there is “may.” This is a show where crazy stuff does happen, and as a result of that nothing is guaranteed.

The promo below gives you a further demonstration of some of the gunplay and the drama that you’re going to see in this episode. Teresa’s contemplating a move in order to take back what she feels is rightfully hers, but we have a feeling that this won’t come easy. It rarely ever does with this show, and she has a lot of adversaries to face off against.

What are the latest ratings?

Of course, we’re going to offer you up a little bit more insight here, especially since we are happy to bring you some very-good news. Episode 2×10, which aired back on August 10, generated a 0.4 rating and almost 1.18 million viewers. In terms of viewers, this is the show’s most-watched episode in three weeks in the live+same-day measures, and it’s also slightly above the season 2 averages (which, for the record, are only down slightly from the season 1 average).

While we know that Queen of the South already has that season 2 renewal, we do think that there’s something fun that comes from continuing to chart some of these numbers in order to see where the show stands.
