America’s Got Talent: Bello Nock returns as surprise wild card act

There was a big surprise coming aboard America’s Got Talent Tuesday night, mostly in the form of Bello Nock making a comeback!

The last time that we saw the daredevil on the show, he was throwing himself out of a cannon in order to impress Simon Cowell. That was easily enough to get rave reviews, and also make us completely irate about him not going through to the next round.

Well, we’re glad to see that the judges made up for it tonight in bringing Bello back for what was another completely crazy performance. This time, he brought out another favorite in the Wheel of Death. This was one of the craziest acts of its kind that we’ve seen in between the stunts and also the character that was playing during it. It’s one thing to do some of this crazy stuff; it’s another thing altogether to appeal as gleeful about it and as awkward as he does. He adds more danger by acting as though he’s never that secure as to what he’s doing at any given time. There really are not any acts out there quite like him.

The biggest thing to take away from Bello returning from the vantage point of strictly optics is this: Maybe this is some sort of signal that producers are aware of some of the backlash that came with all of the various singers going through and getting Golden Buzzers. They saw Bello as a chance to get a little bit more variety into the show, and we’re glad that they did given that he brought in something that we’re not quite sure we’ve EVER seen on the show. If you really watch this show for something other than variety, you have to put someone like him through! How do you not?

We will learn the fate of Bello tomorrow night with the official results show, just like we will with the entirety of the other acts who are performing tonight. Hopefully, he does get some sort of reward as someone who really scrapped and fought hard to get to this position. He was criticized at times, but he didn’t take no for an answer and kept getting bigger with every performance.
