Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 12 spoilers: Baz makes his move

When Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 12 airs on TNT next week, we’re going to be seeing a new family structure. Smurf is behind bars, and as a result of that, the entire family is going to be doing everything that they can to determine who is now going to be in charge. You would probably know, if you’ve watched this show for a while, that agreeing on things is not really the family’s forte. Everyone has their own opinion, just as everyone is also incredibly thirsty for power and to make their presence felt in a big way.

We’re getting near the end of the season, and it’s with that in mind that we’re not surprised that TNT is keeping its cards close to the vest. The one thing that we do feel is that the odds of Smurf staying behind bars for long seem fairly low. When you’ve got Ellen Barkin on the show, one of the things that you’re probably quick to realize is that you want him at the center of the action as opposed to being completely separate from much of it.

The latest ratings updates on the show

Remember here first and foremost that Animal Kingdom has already been renewed for a third season; with that in mind, there’s no real reason to be concerned about its immediate future. Now that we’ve said that, it is still worth celebrating that the show is getting the same sort of numbers that it did for the entirety of the season. Think in terms of a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and also 1.2 million viewers. Also, remember that this is a show that is continuing to generate solid live+3 and live+7 ratings — we’re in an era where there are a ton of people out there who don’t watch television live anymore!
