Game of Thrones season 7 episode 6 video: Jon Snow and a dragon
The video clip below via Twitter is interesting given that Kit Harington’s character gets a chance to stare a dragon right in the face — which is pretty darn terrifying. Then again, given what Jon’s been through already in between dying and seeing The Night King, it does feel like he’s more prepared to handle this sort of craziness than most.
Also, we do wonder when the truth about Jon’s parentage will finally be revealed. Bran hasn’t said too much about the Tower of Joy since arriving to Winterfell, though to be fair we didn’t expect for him to without Jon around. This is key to establishing his ties to the dragon, but it’s about a whole lot more than just this. After all, you also do need to remember here that he and Daenerys had some sort of mutual attraction going on last week, and there’s already a history of Targeryan incest out there as it is. If this is something that isn’t told to them soon … well, you do know where this could be going.
For the time being, both Jon and Daenerys do have more important things to worry about than romance. Even though the Mother of Dragons was able to defeat Jaime Lannister and his army recently, do you think that Cersei is the sort to just turn a blind eye to that? We don’t exactly think so. She’s probably going to make a move on that quickly, and we know already that she’s got Euron Greyjoy at her disposal and she probably won’t waste a whole lot of time using him however she sees fit.
Elsewhere, we just want to see Ser Jorah make it back to his Khaleesi! He’s been such a big part of her story from the very beginning — even if his crush on her gets into creepy territory sometimes — and it makes sense that he be there for her in the end. It feels like it’s been a good season or so now since she sent him away to cure him grayscale, and with Sam’s help, he is now better and capable of fighting. We do think that he’s got a significant role to play before the story comes to a close in the end.
