Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: What is Paul’s endgame? (day 49, morning)
Do we think that the two would try to cut each other before the end? Probably, but we’re talking in terms of after final five since we don’t foresee it happening for them before that. The two had some lengthier conversations last night (at the conclusion of Kevin’s awkward birthday party), and we got a little more of a sense of who Paul wants to be at the end with: Josh, Raven, and Christmas.
When it comes to Raven, it’s clear what Paul wants her there: She’s not a good player. She’s erratic, and she definitely doesn’t win competitions. Also, much of the talk about her being a sympathy candidate has fallen by the wayside. (Remember earlier this season, where Cody and many others were ready to be her biggest cheerleaders? Well, that seems like a completely different time.)
One of Paul’s bigger mistakes in his thinking is that he seems more threatened by Matt than he does either Josh or Christmas, and those two have more actively talked about working against him and were ready at one point this week to defy his wishes and vote out Elena. While it’s true that Matt is more of a competition threat on paper (we already see him winning that competition where you fill up the various bowls), he’s also shown little strategic cloud and he’s got no real edge in the game. He’s just chilling, eating cereal, and wearing the same Texas Longhorns shirt over and over again.
At least Paul is thinking clearly that Alex and Jason are two people who will need to be split up and taken out at some point, given that they’re a strong duo with reasonable challenge ability. Obviously, he wants Cody out immediately given that he knows that there’s little way that the two can coexist in the game, with Mark and Elena not too far behind them.
Can Paul really win this season?
He tried to act to Kevin like nobody would ever vote for a returning player this time, we don’t buy that for a second. If Paul manages to get to the end with a Raven or a Josh, there’s a very good chance he takes it against either one of them. He loses against Kevin, and while he may beat Christmas, she’s more game-savvy than Raven and Josh and could make some interesting arguments. We don’t think her injury would really help or hurt her at that point.
