America’s Got Talent video: Dancers Artyon & Paige perform for Seal, Heidi Klum

There are many different fun things about tonight’s America’s Got Talent episode, but one of the things we’re probably the most psyched for is seeing Seal as a guest judge. There’s probably some untapped comedic potential that comes with Heidi Klum’s ex-husband working alongside her on the panel. As a matter of fact, you can see some of it in the latest sneak peek below!

In this video (which comes your way via Entertainment Weekly), you can see some young dancers in Artyon and Paige performing their own version of a classic Dirty Dancing routine (consider it the kid version), while also striking a similarity to a young Heidi and Seal. This is at least according to judge Howie Mandel, who especially gets some pleasure out of learning that the two kids want to get married someday.

All jokes about the judges aside, these two kids are very good for their age, and more than being great dancers, they are aided considerably by having great personalities and enthusiasm. They each seem very much happy to be there and to be taking on the work. That’s super-important in a show like this where there can be easily so much pressure that is put upon you to do well and there are SO many dancers. The biggest problem that Artyon & Paige run into is just that we’ve seen so many high-energy kid dancers already. They have a unique relationship that helps them, but we don’t remember that all that much from the first round and we’re not too confident on their future just when it comes to air time alone. They may have their work cut out for them if they want to make it to the live shows.

The good thing for these two is pretty simple: They’re still so young! If they love dance as much as they say they do, they can keep working and training to be on some other shows down the road. If by so miracle So You Think You Can Dance is still on this many years down the road, that could be an option for them. If not that, maybe NBC’s World of Dance will still be going strong at that point. Both seem to be on some level reasonable choices for them — heck, World of Dance is open to pretty much anyone and they don’t have to wait anywhere near that long to appear there.

Could they get the Golden Buzzer?

Hey, you never know — maybe Seal is interested in their story! We just hope that someone gets it who is not a singer. We weren’t planning to beat that drum as much as we have during Judge Cuts, but with SO many singers getting it it’s starting to feel like producers need some sort of blinking sign in front of them to mix things up.
