Bachelor in Paradise 4 cast photo: See Raven Gates, Corinne Olympios, more

ABC today released the first official Bachelor in Paradise 4 cast photo, and upon looking at it, it’s fairly clear that this was taken long before production was shut down.

This photo features both Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson alongside Raven Gates, Amanda Stanton, Robby Hayes, and the rest of the cast, and the two certainly appear more than happy to be there. It’s not too much of a surprise to see them here, given that ABC is going to use them in some form during the premiere episode. It probably won’t show much of the actual incident that transpired (that just feels too exploitative given the headlines that are out there), but it will feature a discussion via host Chris Harrison regarding what happened and their departure from the show. Producers won’t gloss over the fact that production was shut down for a while.

There’s something about these Bachelor in Paradise cast photos that feel as though a photographer just randomly showed up in the middle of the day and grouped everyone together. After all, there are some people who are in bathing suits and other people who are still dressed up. It’s a little bit of a hodgepodge of various people lumped together at one time.

The real headline remains, obviously, the presence of DeMario and Corinne there given that it was previously so hard to know how ABC was going to promote the show. Now that this is settled, there are some other issues that the producers will need to address, including how long to focus on it and how much to include the two of them in promos/teasers. In the end, this is not a show about what happened to two people the first night; it’s about relationships that formed in this crazy reality TV environment. Regardless of whether or not engagements come out of the show or not, producers want to label this a success story so that they can continue to claim that this process works.
