Queen of the South season 2 episode 9 spoilers: Teresa and Camila’s journey

When Queen of the South season 2 episode 9 airs on USA next week, the stakes will be higher than they’ve ever been. With that being said, the story could also take some interesting turns as Camila and Teresa find themselves in a more desperate state. Maybe they end up getting something out of this that they would never have expected?

Whether it be with El Santo or in her hunt for a distributor, Teresa knew constantly that she was on a knife’s edge and one wrong move could end up dooming her operation — and also herself. Well, that wrong move seems to have now been made, and moving into this next episode, she has to focus more so on how to stay alive than how to find prosperity for herself. Being that there are just two more episodes to go this season, we anticipate the story accelerating and there being even more danger and drama than we’ve seen to date.

Oh, and the odds of a cliffhanger at the end of the finale are high, but we’ll talk more about that later. For now, take a look at the synopsis below for a little more insight into what’s next.

When’s the renewal coming?

We’re sure that this question is starting to float around out there among diehard fans, especially since the ratings remain very solid for cable. It brought in another 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic last week, and so far the show is only down around 2% in the demo versus last year.

What we would advise you to do if you’re a diehard Queen of the South fan is to keep watch for the USA presentation at the TCA Summer Press Tour in the coming days. Remember that TNT earlier today announced that Animal Kingdom was renewed for a third season at their own panel. Fingers crossed that some great news is going to be handed down, and very soon!
