The Night Shift season 4 episode 7 return date: A story of veterans

Night Shift season 4 episode 7

While we do like to think of every episode as important, The Night Shift season 4 episode 7 in two weeks (August 10) is going to have something about it that is even more significant than usual. As Brendan Fehr (who plays Drew) told us last week, every new person brought in to work on this episode “Keep the Faith” is either active-duty military or a veteran. This is an episode celebrating those men and women in uniform, and it’s also going to be one that gives you more backstory on the Drew character to go along with it.

So what are you going to be seeing over the course of this hour beyond some of these stories? Well, look at things this way: You’ll be seeing an extremely important patient at the hospital, and a funeral is going to find itself on the receiving end of some rude interruptions. The synopsis below offers up further information.

The Night Shift season 4 episode 7 synopsis – “When protestors descend on a funeral for a dear member of the night shift family, multiple veterans are injured and brought to San Antonio Memorial for treatment. A high profile politician from Drew’s (Brendan Fehr) past triggers flashbacks to his time in Iraq. Jordan (Jill Flint), Scott (Scott Wolf), and TC (Eoin Macken) disagree on how to best provide care for the politician. Paul (Robert Bailey Jr.) and Shannon (Tanaya Beatty) must improvise while tending to Doug (gust star Dan Lauria, “Royal Pains”), a former POW. Cain (guest star Mark Consuelos) and Drew treat a fearless photographer.”

Beyond the presence of the active-duty military and veterans, one of the questions we are the most curious about entering “Keep the Faith” is this: How much are we going to see in this episode in regards TC trying to feel normal again? We’re speaking here about a man who has struggled to find that sense of inner peace so far this season and even went halfway around the world for self-discovery. Clashing with some other people at the hospital over a method of treatment could prove stressful for him, especially when these people are Jordan and Scott and there is so much history there.

The promo below offers up some more insight into the fact that this is an important episode that is all about honoring the military. We’re sure that there are plenty of people out there wanting some more information on if Mac lives or dies, but alas, you’ll be waiting for a while still on that.
