The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All: Will Lee Garrett, DeMario Jackson appear?

Men Tell All

Are you ready for The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All to air on ABC? We hope so, since it’ll be here before you know it.

Typically, we find these specials to be on the boring side, given that there is not often all that much that is revealed in terms of new information. Yet, this time around, we admit that this could be two hours that does have our attention in a far more substantial way. It’s not about pandering for Bachelor in Paradise or the obvious interview segments with Chris Harrison — it’s about two specific contestants who have been the center of controversy. We may tune out the rest, but these segments should prove interesting.

DeMario Jackson – This is the first time that he will have done an interview on the franchise since the Bachelor in Paradise scandal first broke. Obviously, this will be a strange sit-down to do given that we’re not sure if that show will even be addressed. His purpose for being at the Tell All is to talk about Rachel Lindsay’s season rather than the spin-off, and that did not go too well. He’ll probably deal with a question or two on Rachel and his past girlfriend, but all the while there will be that massive elephant in the room.

The one thing we do know for sure is that he’s there for the event — given that he’s already in Los Angeles, it’s not like he had to travel.

Lee Garrett – Will he even show up? We’ve heard that he was spotted at some after-parties, and that makes us think that he will have a presence there in some form. It’s very rare for someone to bail on the Tell All since it’s probably something that the network strongly encourages you to attend if you were a relevant part of the season — we have seen people bail a few times over the years, and it did even happen twice on Ali’s Bachelorette season.

The thing with Lee is that he’s going to have to combat accusations of racism if he turns up; yet, he probably knows that if he doesn’t, he will be viewed as a coward and have no way to fight back or explain himself. This is clearly a guy who went on the show for some sort of fame in the first place, so he may just look at this special as a chance to get some of that.

Now that we’ve noted all of this … we do strongly believe that this is the final time that we’re ever going to see Lee as a part of this franchise. He’s a casting embarrassment on the part of ABC, and they would probably like to crawl into a hole and pretend that he was never on the show at all.
