Sense8 season 3 movie: There’s no filming schedule just yet…

Earlier this summer, there was some great news revealed courtesy of a Sense8 season 3 movie being confirmed at Netflix. The series seemed dead in the water, but now, there is a two-hour installment being planned to tie up the storylines.

For the time being, we’re not going to spend a whole lot of time on the subject of whether or not this will truly be the end of the series. We’re assuming that it is, just because we don’t want to get any sort of false hope about the show being given a third chance.

At the moment, though, it’s still far too early for many more details to be unveiled in regards to the movie and what to expect, including even when it could film. This is something that one of the show’s stars in Alfonso Herrera explained further in an interview with Deadline:

“I still have no idea how they’re going to manage to accommodate all the schedules, but I know they’re going to do it. Because thanks to the fans, I do think that miracles happen, and thanks to the fans for bringing Sense8 back.”

It’s true that everyone on this show is going to be very busy, especially since Herrera now has The Exorcist and much of the cast was put into a position where they would have to start thinking a little bit more about some other jobs that were out there. This show was canceled, and many of the actors at the time of that cancellation had already been stuck in limbo for an extremely long time. They started to think more about what some of their other opportunities could be. We just hope that no matter what, the movie gives everyone a great celebration of what the show was for the first two seasons, and offers some closure for many of the main characters.

The biggest difference between the movie and the show

This movie will be written most likely as the end of the road. That’s a little bit different than anything that we’ve seen over the past season, where the plan clearly was for the show to continue. We’ll check out down the road what the future for the franchise is, but for now, we wait in eager anticipation.
