Snowfall episode 4 spoilers: How far will Teddy go?

Snowfall season 1

Following tonight’s episode, Snowfall episode 4 is going to be coming on the air in one week’s time to further its “origin story.” Sure, in some ways it’s about crack, but it is also all about these characters and how they find their way to survive in a society that has at times rejected them. They all feel as though they’ve got something major to prove, and they are going to be working hard in order to do it.

Of course, there are going to be some obstacles in the way — whether it be dealing with crimes committed against you (it’s hard to go to go to the police), given the circumstances here or what you’re willing to do in order to protect those who are closest to them. This is going to be an episode about proving themselves and learning more about who these people are. We’ve gotten to know them on a superficial left, and we’re now getting a chance to dive a little bit deeper.

Below, you can get a few more details as to what is coming courtesy of FX.

Snowfall episode 4 synopsis – “Franklin and Leon deal with the thief. Teddy goes to extreme measures to protect the CIA. Lucia and Gustavo connect in the aftermath of the previous night. Written by Emily Grinwis; directed by Hiro Murai.”

How are the ratings?

We anticipated that there would be a drop from the premiere to the second episode, given that this almost always happens with new series. That appears to also be the case here. Episode 2 posted (in live+same-day numbers, mind you) a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic. As for total viewers, its total was around 965,000. These are both drops from the premiere of around 25%. That’s a little bit larger of a drop than you want to typically see following a premiere — typically, you want to see a drop of around 10% after the premiere to fall within averages. Hopefully, the show is steady in the ratings from here.

If there is one thing that we will say is a caveat here, it’s that all FX series perform very well in live+3 and live+7 figures. This is why the network often waits to announce their ratings until these figures first come in.

As for the promo below…

There’s a house full of coke and a body in the trunk. We don’t know how we can put what’s coming any clearer than that. Also, to quote Ron Burgundy, this is escalating quickly. Remember how it took Breaking Bad a full season to get this nuts?
