Bull season 2 spoilers: Michael Weatherly teases messy behavior and more
Nonetheless, as Bull season 2 progresses, you better believe that you could end up seeing a little more of Bull’s flaws and troubles outside of the job. This is something that Weatherly himself teased to Digital Spy following the switch in showrunner and production for new episodes underway in New York City:
“My version of Jason Bull and I think it syncs up with the new showrunner, Glenn Caron’s, is that Bull’s a bit of a mess … And he’s not as sure of himself as I think he may have been in the early part of season one. I think he’s going to unravel a bit!”
To us, all of this sounds like it will make for super-fun material for Michael, while also addressing what we feel to be one of the largest issues that exists out there from the first season of the show: Needing to give Bull more flaws. If he is going to continuously win in the courtroom, he needs to be losing somewhere else. There are few human beings in life that excel at almost everything, and when you are extraordinarily gifted at something, often it comes with a cost. Some of Bull’s personal trappings should be a great way to highlight some of that.
What do we know so far?
The set in New York is keeping things fairly under wraps, but we do know with certainty that Jill Flint will be coming back as Diana Lindsay during the premiere episode. Beyond that, we hope that some other familiar faces from season 1 will turn up, including Yara Martinez as Jason’s ex-wife. There is room for more people, but we don’t want to beat some of our previous hopes/demands into the ground. with the new showrunner coming on board, let’s give him and the rest of the writers some time to showcase what they have in mind for this season.
For now, we simply suggest that you share in the comments below some of what you’d like to see coming on Bull season 2!
