Is Bull season 2 already filming? Good news for the future
If you’re excited to see Bull season 2 premiere on CBS in the fall, you’ve got every reason to be! Not only that, but we’re thrilled to say production is underway. It actually started a little earlier this month, so if you’re out in the New York area, there is probably a whole lot to check out if you happen to see anyone out on location.
Now that we’ve said that, let’s touch for a moment on where we could see the show go as we do get into the second season. Season 1 ended with Bull at least faring reasonably well in a series of tough cases with J.P. Nunnelly — his trial analysis team is still together, and they are working to figure out better ways to work together and also more challenging cases to take on. There is a lot to be intrigued about in terms of where the show could go, and it’s all a question now of whether or not the series manages to make it there.
If there is a bigger thing that Bull needs to do more consistently, it’s dive even more into what makes some of these people tick. It may sound weird and counter-intuitive to say given that the show is named Bull, but we may actually need to see more of some of the other characters in the spotlight beyond an episode or two here or there. The more that you present a fuller spectrum of who some of these people are and what makes them tick, the better off the show is going to be.
Beyond that, we of course do still think Dr. Bull needs some more rivals — our Cote de Pablo casting dream as an adversary is still out there, but regardless of the performer, there need to be more people on Bull’s level. Think in terms of Superman — he needed a Lex Luthor and some other people who could actually find ways to take him on. It may not be easy to find when you’re dealing with someone with such a wide array of powers, but we absolutely think that it’s necessary.
