Wynonna Earp season 2 episode 6 review: Wynonna, Dolls, highs, and lows
Take, for example, Nicole learning about it in rather awkward fashion — strangely, not the only moment of the episode in which someone walked in on someone else. This is an episode that had a lot of great stuff in it, whether it be some great Wayhaught moments, Tucker continuing to be the worst, and an interesting mystery that put the majority of Purgatory into a state of slumber. This was the sort of problem that put almost all hands on deck, and seeing that play out was certainly interesting to behold. It’s nice to see everyone together again!
Also, how about that kiss between Wynonna and Dolls? If you weren’t excited about this episode below, you absolutely were at this point!
Let’s not get too distracted here, given that there was a confrontation to be had with Tucker that had been building for a long time. In the midst of all of the craziness that happened in the town, Haught was able to find Tucker in time to ensure that he didn’t do anything terrible. However, apparently shooting him doesn’t matter all that much since he was still fine enough to jump out the window. Nicole saved the day in this instance, while Wynonna was also able to take down the Creep of the Week and in turn, restore Purgatory to some sort of normalcy — however much it’s going to have, anyway.
After all, you do still have to remember that Wynonna got some creepy prophecies, and Dolls still put her in a position to use her gun. Right after the two killed, they went back to being at odds with each other. Oh, and everyone found out that Wynonna was pregnant.
Cliffhanger time
Hey, who doesn’t love a rolling head? So long, Stone Witch or whatever else you want to call her! Of course, that’s far from the end of all the craziness for Tucker and company.
Overall Verdict
While the Waverly – goo story is over, Wynonna Earp found itself plenty of other material to entertain us with. This is an episode that was very entertaining, but there was also plenty of sentimental moments at the end of the episode as Waverly tried to confront her sister over everything that was going on with her. It was tough for her to take everything going on with all of the craziness and the town and her being pregnant, but Wynonna’s got a pretty good sister. We like to think that this goes a mighty fine way to end a good episode that sets the stage for the rest of the season. Grade: B+.
