Zoo season 3 episode 3 spoilers: Abe’s request; Jackson’s goal

Zoo season 3 episode 3 is coming to CBS on Thursday night, and the subject at the heart of the sneak peek below is simple: Solving the sterility problem. We know that Abe feels like he came fairly close to solving the problem at the end of this past episode, but there was a pretty major problem and that problem is none other than Reiden Global. They’ve now got his hybrid sample, and in turn, they also have Isaac … and therefore all of the leverage in the world. They’ve put Abe in a position now where he may feel like he’s got no choice other than to work with them, which is obviously something that he doesn’t want to do.

Yet, here’s the problem: Abe and Dariela don’t exactly have the capabilities or the resources to just run out and snag another sample. It’s not that easy to do that, and therefore, they need a little bit of help. This is where Jackson can come into play. In this sneak peek Abe gives Jackson a call, and makes it clear that in order to get the leverage back, he needs another hybrid sample to continue the research. If that happens, all of a sudden Reiden Global loses almost all of their leverage and they may suddenly decide that there’s nothing else for them to do other than to just go ahead and give Issac back.

We hope that Abe is right, mostly because younger characters in this world are at the moment in rather short supply. Not only that, but we do know very much how much he cares about his son. Unfortunately, one of the biggest problems that he faces is that he has to trust a group of people to do something which is hard when you cant some control over the situation. Even if they lose the leverage, is Reiden Global really going to actually give him his son back? We’re still not sure about that, and we’re very much nervous that they may decide not to and just go ahead and tell Abe to go pound sand.

Beyond all of this, the biggest thing that we’re probably the most excited to see at the moment is a big reunion coming up with all of the cast members. This is a show very much about the Zoo family, and we want to see a reunion-of-sorts so that they can all get back to kicking butt and taking names. Oh, and of course stopping the hybrids and getting the world back in reasonable shape again.
