Shadowhunters season 2 episode 16 spoilers: What’s next for Jace, Clary?
Now, let’s get to sharing a handful of additional news when it comes to this episode and what you can expect to see as a whole.
Shadowhunters season 2 episode 16 synopsis – “Jace and Clary go on an unsanctioned mission, while Maia helps Simon out at a Yom Kippur family dinner.”
Simon, based on what we saw at the end of tonight’s episode, claimed that he needed “time” in order to figure out how he felt about what happened at the Seelie Court. While he thinks things over / recovers from what happened with the case tonight, we’re going to be seeing more of Clary doing what she can in order to keep herself focused on the task at hand. Maybe in some ways, this will serve as a nice distraction for her. Otherwise, we can easily see all of this drama weighing heavily on her.
Moving beyond these characters, one of the clear storylines that the show needs to address further is what’s going to happen with Valentine being transported, in addition to the state of Sebastian at the moment … or “Sebastian,” depending on who you are talking about here. As you saw tonight, the man we’ve been seeing is not the same Sebastian that he presented himself as, and is actually Valentine’s son in disguise. That should give you a pretty major reason to be afraid of the chaos to come.
About the promo
Well, this is where things are going to get a little bit crazy! The hunt for Valentine will be taking up the majority of our characters’ time, but in the process some new powers are going to be discovered. Also, there will be time in which to ponder precisely what is going on with Jace, who may be unraveling more as the season progresses. In between the Clary stuff and his lineage, his world is starting to spiral out of control.
