Longmire season 6: Robert Taylor, more hit up Longmire Days!

Robert Taylor

Earlier this week, it was easy to start getting sentimental as Longmire season 6 wrapped up filming in New Mexico. This weekend, there’s a chance for many fans to celebrate! Longmire Days is happening in Buffalo, Wyoming, and for those who do not know, this is an annual celebration of both the show and the books written by Craig Johnson. There are outdoor / indoor events, autographs, and a wide array of fun things to do to celebrate the show that’s been on for many years.

Oh, and there are some cast members in attendance as well! Take a look at the recent photo below from Robert Taylor, who is signing autographs for a wide array of fans. The event is a big tourism boon for the region, and it’s one of the few chances for the Longmire cast to actually be at the place in which the show is technically set.

If you’re in the area, or you just want to know the event schedule, be sure to head over to the link here and take a gander. In the event that you can’t attend but want to still feel like you’re there, the official Longmire Posse has you covered! They are sharing a wide array of photos / videos over at their Facebook page. Be sure to check those out! The event will be taking place throughout the weekend; hopefully, there’ll be some more cool news to come out over the course of it.

Meanwhile, Longmire season 6 will premiere on Netflix this fall, whether that be late September or early October.

What’s the timeline of events?

We imagine that at some point in August, we’ll get something in the vein of a teaser / trailer for the final season, with another one potentially coming in the weeks that follow. To be honest, we don’t expect that extensive of a promotional campaign on Netflix’s part — there wasn’t a big one for season 5, and with this being the final season, there may be less of an incentive to market the show beyond just a video or two of what to expect.

No matter what the streaming service does, our plan is to still provide you with as much coverage as we can, whether it be photos, previews, and of course full reviews of every episode on a daily basis after the show premieres. (If we tried to watch / review them all at once, our brain would probably explode — also, we don’t love binge-watching to the extent that we don’t actually remember individual episodes and everything starts to bleed together a little bit more.)

Be sure to also check out some of our season 5 reviews while you’re at it…

Now, we turn things over to you

Let us know if you’re attending Longmire Days, or what you want to see on season 6 coming up!
