Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: The eviction vote scramble starts (day 12, evening)

eviction vote

There’s a reason why the first week of Big Brother is better than almost any other week of the year, and much of it starts and ends with the sheer size of the house. You have so many people competing, and there are a good many of them who are pretty terrible players at the same time.

Let’s begin here with Cody, a man so terrible at the game he makes Josh appear decent. Earlier today, he made the decision to try and nominate Paul as a replacement nominee; when that didn’t work, he realized soon after that he would try and go after Christmas. The house freaked on him, and as of right now, he’s almost flipped to another side because the bulk of his alliance wants to keep her over Jillian, someone they have no allegiance to at all.

It was Cody’s goal to get his group of people all to the jury together, but the irony there is that they’re doing this in spite of him. While he rambles on about being fine with having a huge target on his back, Jessica and others are fuming, and are trying to keep together and repair relationships. Paul seems to be fine with everyone despite keeping his Den of Temptation power from them, and Christmas has done a really good job of calming down and making sure people don’t fear keeping her. Despite being an enormous physical threat, nobody seems to be that afraid of her over Jillian, someone who’s not really in danger of winning any competitions for a solid month or so.

Most of the conversations since the Veto Ceremony have been people trying to reassure each other that they had zero knowledge of what Cody was planning, that way they cover their own butts. (To be fair, nobody did know.)

Your showmance update

For anyone curious for some odd reason, Mark and Elena have now gotten closer … at least closer enough to be the second showmance of the house to kiss. Meanwhile, Cody and Jessica are now currently at odds and for a fairly-good reason, given that Cody basically admitted that he let Alex win the Power of Veto over him. For whatever reason, he’s got this odd attachment to Alex because of her being such a competitor. It’s a huge blindspot for him, especially since she has ZERO reason to feel the same after he nominated her.

To be fair, so far Jessica’s also been a lot of hollow threats so far. She’s said a number of times that she’ll cut bait from the guy, and yet she’s still wandering around in his cap. That’s the thing about showmances: It’s so hard to get way from each other that often everything somehow works back out.

What do you think is going to happen?
