Turn: Washington’s Spies season 4 episode 3 spoilers: Abe’s rescue mission
Moving into Turn: Washington’s Spies season 4 episode 3, Abe will do everything that he can in order to rescue Brewster. Will that happen? Well, that’s an entirely different story, and one very much to be seen.
As you recall, tonight’s episode ended with a battered, beaten Brewster being shipped off from his torture chamber, where he will presumably be used in a trade set up in part by Abe. It’s a testament to his loyalty, but also to finding a way to hit the British where it hurts: Taking someone of importance and demanding five hundred pounds in the process. Here is the main issue: Anytime that you try and set up and organize something of this variety, there’s a reasonably good chance that things won’t go according to plan and there will be chaos in the end. You almost have to expect that at this point in the series’ run.
For a few more assorted details on what’s coming up ahead, allow the official synopsis below via AMC to be your guide.
Turn: Washington’s Spies season 4 episode 3 synopsis – “Abe’s scheme to rescue Caleb turns deadly. Anna faces a difficult decision. Arnold suspects Peggy is keeping a secret from him.”
The part of the story with Arnold and Peggy could prove to be the most fascinating in the end out of all of these stories, largely because we’ve come to know that he is the sort of character who wants more than just power — he wants to have that feeling that his actions have made some sort of tremendous mark on the world. He wants a legacy, and is willing to do virtually anything and everything in order to ensure that he gets it. If he thinks that Peggy has someone that could make him look foolish, he wants to know it. He wants to be that smartest guy in the room at all costs.
