Wynonna Earp season 2 episode 2 spoilers: How is Willa coming into play?
During the season premiere of Wynonna Earp last week, it was clear that our title heroine was still suffering some PTSD when it comes to what happened with Willa. It’s too bad that on Friday’s episode, you’re going to see all of this manifest in a rather surprising (and also rather difficult) manner.
As you can see in the video below, things start off normally enough, with Wynonna encountering someone in Earl who seems to be interested in doing a million different things that do not include “have a conversation” with Wynonna. Right when she starts to chase after her, things start to go off the rails when she has a surprising vision that distracts her temporarily.
What does this mean? That is one of the mysteries at the heart of this preview, and also what Wynonna could be going through this season. One of the things that the show is doing a great job of at the moment is creating situations that play into the character’s past, but also the present at the same time.
Elsewhere in this episode, reunions are going to be a key part of the story as you venture into an odd homecoming environment — basically, not the sort of place that you want to fight demons. Also, the synopsis for the episode mentioned spiders, and that is one of the things that we’ll always be afraid of seeing too much of. (That’s just not this show’s fault.)
Beyond the sneak peek, side note: There is always something about hearing Dominique Provost-Chalkley’s accent when you see her on the show as Waverly. We figure that for someone hearing it for the first time, it probably is rather jarring! Let’s just hope for some good Waverly scenes in this episode and the rest of the season. Also, let’s hope at the same time that the ratings find a way to stay constant. If you want to get a season 3 for Wynonna Earp, one of the best things you can do is support the show now, live, as it is airing.
If you missed it…

After doing a 0.09 last week, can this show do over a 0.10 this week? Everyone should know that the show is in now. No excuses. 12 Monkeys season three did under a 0.10, but SYFY had already announced that they would be doing a concluding season four before the binge-a-thon. SYFY said that this show had a decent fan base. We’ll see if they show up tonight.
