Criminal Minds season 13: Damon Gupton congratulates Kirsten Vangsness, AJ Cook on raise
It is a shame that Gupton’s time on the procedural was so limited, given that he did have so much more to offer this show and we did enjoy the backstory that was offered on his character Stephen Walker. More than that, he also seems to have been well-liked behind the scenes. Take a look at the post below via Vangsness for further proof on that. He’s going to be missed on the show, and it will go on later this fall on CBS. Filming will start up a little bit later this summer.
As previously reported, the jury is still out on whether or not the producers are looking to bring in any more regulars, given that with Cook and Vangsness signed that now have these two women plus Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, Joe Mantegna, Adam Rodriguez, and Aisha Tyler all on the show for the upcoming thirteenth season. The producers will most likely do what’s in the best interest of the story, whatever that may end up being. If you recall, season 12 ended with a pretty-crazy cliffhanger that left the lives of many of the show’s main characters in jeopardy, and it remains to be seen just what’s going to be lying ahead for many of them down the road. Judging from the returning roster, it’s fair to say that many of them (save for Walker) are poised to survive. He may also, but his character could be written off in some other capacity.
