Longmire season 6 teases: Katee Sackhoff and dinosaurs
In the posts on Twitter and Instagram below, you can see that Sackhoff’s character of Vic is now finding herself in a rather prehistoric environment. After all, she’s surrounded by dinosaurs! It’s an unusual place to be, even if we’re not talking about these dinosaurs being real. (Alas, anyone hoping for the world’s greatest crossover between this show and Jurassic Park are probably going to be feeling a little bit disappointed.)
What’s going on here? Odds are, this sort of dinosaur park is the setting for either some sort of crime scene or chase after a suspect; after all, Vic down have her gun drawn in one of the images. As for why there would be such a place in Wyoming, the state is a hotbed for paleontology and there is probably some tourism money to be made out of advertising this sort of stuff to people driving through the state or there to visit Yellowstone / some other landmark.
There are a thousand or so other questions worth asking at the moment, including the status of Vic’s pregnancy, but those are ones that you’ll have to wait until the show returns to find out. (Would it really be all that exciting if you learned everything in advance? There are some things that are worth waiting for!)
