Power season 4 spoilers: Omari Hardwick, cast tease upcoming story
Recently, the Starz series had a big premiere event in Washington DC leading up to the start of the new season, and everyone from Omari Hardwick to Lela Loren to Joseph Sikora to executive producer Courtney Kemp were there in attendance. This was a chance for everyone to get dressed to the nines, and talk for a little bit about precisely what they love about the show and the excitement that they have that it is back on the air.
Also, the hype surrounding Power season 4 is feeling pretty real already! There are multiple claims in this video that we’re gearing up for the best, most-intense season of the show that we’ve had a chance to see to date. Not only that, but it’s also going to be one that addresses the cliffhangers and push the story forward in a big way. Loren comments in here that “you get to see the fallout and all of the consequences of Ghost going to jail,” and odds are, Ghost behind bars is just the beginning of the stories that are going to be coming your way.
One of the things that isn’t mentioned in this preview, but is very important to the future of Power as a series, is the fact that there is another season of the show already ordered. What that means effectively is that Kemp and the writers could really dive into this story knowing that they have more episodes on the other side, and can build up many stories to last a long time rather than just ones that have to tie up in this season. To think, there are already some threads that are already escalating. Think for a moment about what’s happening with Tariq and Kanan, or how Tommy is in a position of greater authority than ever following the destruction of Milan and Ghost being behind bars.
This season should be intense, and beyond that, it should shake up the foundation for Power moving forward as we know it.
