Better Call Saul season 3 episode 9 spoilers: Reunions and high stakes

Better Call Saul season 3 episode 9 is an installment that is bringing you closer to the end of the road. There are only two more episodes left! These stories have a lot of ground to cover, especially depending on just how much Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould want to tie up before the end of the season. While there’s no hurry to turn Jimmy into Saul full-time, the temptation may still be there given that there is probably a certain degree of Saul story to get through before he ends up meeting Walter White and Jesse Pinkman during the days of Breaking Bad.

Next week’s new episode is going to be a chance for Jimmy to have a reunion-of-sorts. Not only that, but Chuck is going to continue his latest attempt at a recovery, and Kim will find herself trying to secure her future … even though some new roadblocks could make that challenging for her.

Better Call Saul season 3 episode 9 synopsis – “Jimmy visits an old friend and takes up a new pastime; Chuck and Hamlin spar over the future of the firm; and Kim faces challenges at work.”

It doesn’t take a whole lot of foresight to realize that whatever Jimmy has planned here when it comes to this old “pastime,” it’s probably not good given the desperate state of his mind at the moment. This is someone who is playing more than fast and loose with the rules at this point.

Promo – The start of this with Jimmy at the mall certainly brings a certain alter-ego in Gene to mind. Beyond that, there are a few other notable moments in here, including Chuck potentially threatening litigation against HHM, and some sort of tension starting to erupt between Jimmy and Kim.

Then, there is also the issue of Hector and Gus to be dealt with. The war between these two different organizations is starting, and Mike finds himself in a unique position where he can operate underneath the surface. How Nacho, anxiety-ridden as he is, fits into this remains to be seen.
