The Walking Dead season 8 notes: Trailer hype, Andrew Lincoln fun
First and foremost, why not talk a little more about some speculation on the season 8 trailer? This will premiere later this summer, and early indications are that it’s AWESOME, not that it should be much of a surprise. Why wouldn’t it be? In speaking to ComicBook.com, the man behind Aaron in Ross Marquand had the following to share about some of what could be coming up with this:
“I mean, for as cool as the Tiger is, we all love Shiva, but I think what we’ve got to show here in season 8 is going to trump everything that we’ve ever done on the show by far.”
Hopefully there will be an official trailer revealed at San Diego Comic-Con next month. If not then, wouldn’t it be rather nice to see it turn up even sooner?
A little bit of Andrew Lincoln fun
Just in case you ever had any doubts that Lincoln and Chandler Riggs were close off-screen much as they are on-screen, it just so turns out that the man behind Rick Grimes turned up at his graduation party! It was none other than Riggs’ own mother who confirmed the news via Instagram with a rather sweet photo — see the bottom of this article.
While Chandler is gearing up to attend university later this year, don’t take this as some sort of sign that he is preparing to leave the show. He’s long been able to balance out some of his studies with everything that he’s doing on the show, and there doesn’t need to be any reason for that to change in the near future.
As far as premiere dates go, there is nothing official as of yet; nonetheless, be prepared for The Walking Dead season 8 to return on AMC in October. After all, this does seem to be the trend.
