NCIS: Does America have a favorite character on the popular CBS show?

Viewers of NCIS are finding themselves slightly bummed that the season of the popular show has come to a conclusion. Summer is always a slow time when it comes to TV finales. While viewers wait, the process of getting season 15 together is beginning soon. Of course, fans appreciate the effort going into the upcoming season. It’s just so hard to wait, which is why viewers reflect on the previous season of NCIS. Yes, it’s to keep us busy and enjoy the stories all over again

Asking around, it’s obvious that the fans love many of the various cast members – both on and off screen. It’s not just one particular person who carries the weight of the story week to week. In fact, unless it’s a character driven episode, all the characters seem to equally share the spotlight. Few, if any, shows offer such a well balanced cast as the stories seem to fly off the TV screens.

While the whole cast makes the best impression, fans still have their favorites. There appears to be a link that each of the viewers find with a character. If could be a relationship to a character because of similarities. Or, maybe a connection with a hobby or activity. Or maybe the favorite character reminds the viewers of someone they know (or want to be) when they grow up.

It begs to ask the question. Does America have a favorite character on NCIS? While many viewers might assume the favorite person on the show is the team leader, Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, that might be slightly presumptuous choice as there are so many cast members to choose from.

Agent Gibbs is a solid choice when considering a favorite, but many people believe it is Abby Sciuto is the best-loved in the squad (and ultimately a fan favorite). The newbie Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres has found his way into the fans of NCIS quite quickly. Easy on the eyes, an interesting backstory and always a bit of a sarcastic banter, Nick seems to fit into the squad.

Favorite or Original? NCIS has both types of characters

Another agent people adore is NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee. As he’s been around since season 1, the viewers have seen him grow, falter and take lead of the team in a very special way. Of course, Agent Gibbs is his boss, but he still works with the Probationary Agents firsthand.

It’s probably safe to assume that Agent Gibbs is the most recognizable character on the show. There are a number of “favorite characters” to enjoy. I think true fans, viewers who intently watch every show, know that it takes all the characters to have a successful series like NCIS.
