Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 2 spoilers: Smurf’s adjustment

Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 2Following tonight’s premiere, where will Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 2 go next? Well, one of the interesting things about this show is that in its second season, it can dive so much deeper into the world and its characters than it could previously. There’s no more need to set up necessarily who Smurf is, for example — we’ve already seen now the full extent of how dark she can go. The fun now comes in seeing more of how she reacts to some of the various circumstances that she’s presented with from here. This is going to be a huge part of the story moving into next week’s new episode, as she finds herself in a most unusual position.

Here is the good thing for Smurf: She’s still got family. Her boys will be looking to help out in that capacity. Take a look at a few more details below for just what is going to be coming up next.

Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 2 synopsis – “As Smurf (Ellen Barkin) adjusts to being sidelined, the boys scope out their next job. Deran (Jake Weary) needs quick cash, and Pope (Shawn Hatosy) and Craig (Ben Robson) lend him a hand. Baz (Scott Speedman) investigates Catherine’s disappearance.”

This episode is going to be one that helps to set the stage for what the remainder of Animal Kingdom season 2 could be. It’s hard to necessarily see it as one that will complete alter the course of the entire story just yet, but it’s laying the groundwork for the crazy to come. The more that it explores both the family dynamics and also the underground operations, the better off they are going to be in the end. Hopefully, this season continues to push the limit, raise the stakes, and bring in some pretty-solid viewership in the process at a time when there are some other shows that are continuing to drop in the numbers.
