Fear the Walking Dead season 3 promo: Madison, Alicia face their past

The latest Fear the Walking Dead season 3 promo as released by AMC seems to be a reminder of one thing by and large: In this world, change comes quickly. You better be prepared to contend with it the moment that it arrives, since otherwise, there’s a good chance that you will be either left behind, dead, or maybe a combination of the two. Part of the fun of the series is going to be seeing how some of the chaos is resolved, and how characters reconcile who they are today with more of what they’ve done already since the start of the zombie apocalypse. Then, throw in there for good measure a nice little dose of some of what they could do.

This may sound vague, but these are the questions rolling in characters’ heads. For example, how did Travis and Madison get so unhinged so quickly? Do either one of them have anything left in them to be a parent? Meanwhile, is Alicia’s inner struggle a product of her circumstances, or a product of seeing Travis and Madison react in such a way?

Now that this is season 3, you know these characters well enough for there to be a general sense of eagerness when it comes to exploring some more of these challenging ideas and concepts. That theme of exploration could bleed over to the show in the sense that some of these characters are going to be exploring in their own rights, as they hope to find some sort of way in which they can find a home for themselves.

In true Fear the Walking Dead fashion, all signs point towards this being significantly more difficult than the characters or anyone would assume … which is crazy to say at this point given that these are characters who have to anticipate the worst.

As some other recent teasers out there have already given away, some of these characters will be finding themselves immersed in the world of survivalist preppers in the new season. There’s a good bit to be excited about so long at you stuck with season 2 long enough to see some of the momentum build.
