Love Actually ‘sequel’ with Andrew Lincoln airing in Red Nose Day special

Red Nose Day

Love Actually is widely regarded as one of the best movies of its kind from the past couple of decades. It makes sense, therefore, for Red Nose Day to get involved!

During tonight’s special on NBC, you’re going to have a chance to see Red Nose Day Actually, a delightful and very-silly “sequel” to the original movie designed specifically for the surface of raising money for a variety of great causes. Many of the cast members from the original movie will be there — including Kiera Knightley and also Andrew Lincoln sporting his Rick Grimes beard from The Walking Dead — and this should be a good chance to get a few “updates” on where everyone stands.

In the event you haven’t had a chance to see anything about the sequel project just yet (if you can even call it that), we strongly suggest checking out the video below for a few smiles and laughs.

If you want to donate to some of the wonderful programs that Red Nose Day supports in order to help children all over the world, we suggest that you follow the link here. Just be patient, given that there are so many people trying to donate that the website is going to be fairly slow to load. Just remember that it’s all for a great cause, and this is absolutely a time in which such things need to be further supported as a way to bring lightness and hope into a world that has lost a little bit of it here and there.

After all, just remember that the entire Love Actually cast got together for the purpose of supporting this cause, and cared more so about this than they did doing anything to earn themselves a ton of money or furthering their career. It’s just a nice way for them all to give back, even while meeting some old friends and stepping back into some familiar roles.

Meanwhile, be sure to take a look at the Red Nose Day – American Ninja Warrior special if you haven’t already. The full special tonight is live at 10:00 p.m. Eastern, and is hosted by none other than Chris Hardwick of more shows than we can easily count. (Photo: NBC.)
