Celebrity American Ninja Warrior: Stephen Amell, Derek Hough, more compete

Tonight, there is a Celebrity American Ninja Warrior episode like no other. More so than that, this is for a great cause: Red Nose Day! It’s a chance to raise money for a great cause, and it’s also a chance to see some celebrities do their best to try to tackle the famous course.

Is this a little bit of an easier version of the course? Sure, but this is a celebrity edition and these people only had a tiny amount of time to train for it. Don’t worry — there is probably still going to be plenty of opportunities in order to watch celebrities wipe out. more than likely, this probably is why some people out there are watching.

Natalie Morales – The Today Show and Access Hollywood host looked pretty in danger during the floating steps, but she managed to get past that. She ended up meeting the end of the road trying to get past the boxes.

Nikki Glaser – This was told as more of a recap, but it was mostly silly as you saw her with Jessie Graff try on a few different challenges … and when she failed, she rowed through the water on a boat.

Jeff Dye – Once again, the Better Late Than Never host got a little meta much like Nikki did. He goofed off here and there, skipped a challenge, but still managed to make it over the Warped Wall. All in all, you gotta consider this fairly impressive.

Nick Swisher – Given that the baseball star actually completed the entire course, shouldn’t he have given more than just a montage?

Erika Christensen – The Parenthood actress took on the early part of the course with ease! Fun move at the end having her coach take on the Warped Wall, that way she could climb up him before pressing the button.

Derek Hough – Kudos to Derek for taking on the entirety of the course himself; even though he fell at one point, he got back up and decided to keep fighting through.

Mena Survari – She didn’t to a whole lot … but she had a good time! That probably should count for at least something, right?

Stephen Amell – Easily the run of the night, as the Arrow star managed to take on the entire course before then starting in on one part of the main course: The salmon ladder. Hey, isn’t that what everyone watched the entire show in order to see?
