Lucifer season 2 finale spoilers: The search for Charlotte
Want some further details on what to expect? Then take a look below. (Side note: The episode title for the finale in “The Good, the Bad, and the Crispy” is all sorts of amazing.)
Lucifer season 2 finale synopsis – “After Charlotte accidentally charbroils a man to death in self-defense, Lucifer must try and keep Chloe from figuring out the truth. Lucifer puts Maze in charge of finding Charlotte and Amenadiel, who have both gone missing in light of recent circumstances, while he finds a permanent solution for the ticking-time-bomb he calls Mom.”
Over the course of this episode, you’ll get a little bit of closure, a little bit of crazy, and probably all sorts of humor given that this is Lucifer and this is the sort of thing that the show does have a tendency to serve up. It’s fun, but also incredibly absurd at the same time and this is one of many things to love about it.
Wait, wait only 18 episodes? – It’s fair to wonder that, but there is a reasonable explanation: There were four extra episodes filmed this season that are being banked and will air during season 3. They are all standalone in nature. It’s possible that season 3 could consist of 24-26 episodes because of this, or that Fox will only order 18 episodes for that season, bringing the order back to a standard 22. It’s a little to early to know precisely when these episodes are going to air in the context of the larger season 3 story.
