The Voice finale rankings: Is Lauren Duski or Chris Blue favorite to win?

Voice finale rankingsWho’s ready for some The Voice finale rankings leading into tonight’s episode? This is something that’s been a little more infrequent this season, but there’s a good bit to talk about for the next two episodes given that there is a two-person race seemingly for the grand prize. No disrespect to the other members of the final four, but it does ultimately feel that cut-and-dry.

As for what these rankings are based on, think along the lines of performance quality, iTunes rankings, coach popularity, and the history for similar acts on the show.

4. Jesse Larson – Jesse is rather good at what he does, but at the same time his inclusion seems to be as much based on his unique look and having Adam Levine as his coach than some of what he did on the show. He was very good, but better than Hunter Plake? That’s what is hard to get over.

3. Aliyah Moulden – Meanwhile, Aliyah being in the finale comes down more to being hot at the right time, and performing a song last week that appealed to a very powerful voting block on the show. Also, Blake Shelton artists do have a tendency to advance far.

2. Chris Blue – If we were to have a horse in this race, it’s Chris, who consistently has been fantastic, artistic, and captivating in his performances. The guy can do old-school numbers, but also performances that are modern and play well on the charts today. With the right producer and team around him, Chris has a chance at some mainstream success after the show.

1. Lauren Duski – She’s a country singer on Team Blake, and there have been two of them from the show already in Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery who have found some relative success after the show. It’s just hard to bet against an archetype that has won twice before; when you look at Craig Wayne Boyd and Sundance Head, that’s four artists in the past eleven seasons that are country singers on Team Blake. This, plus her iTunes history, bodes well for Lauren to win the title.

Based on everything that you’ve seen on The Voice this season, who do you think should be the winner of season 12? Share in the poll below!

Meanwhile, head over to the link here in the event that you do want to get some other news when it comes to the show. There will be some pieces up a little bit later on the finale, including the original compositions of the final four. (Photo: NBC.)
