The Durrells season 2 episode 6 (finale) spoilers: Hugh, Louisa’s moment
Provided you enjoy British drama, The Durrells season 2 episode 6 airing on ITV next week will be of great significance. Given that this is the final episode of the season, it makes sense that you would see many characters placed into life-altering circumstances. When you think about some of these touchstones, often you do think in terms of everything from weddings to engagements to childbirth to death. Some of these are great, whereas others are not so much.
Of course, there are no guarantees that all of these will happen over the course of the finale, but it is fair to anticipate some of these events taking center stage as questions still arise as to what the future for many characters will be. The one thing that does feel assured is that Leonora is going to find herself in a position where she is welcoming a child into the world.
The Durrells season 2 episode 6 synopsis – “Hugh poses a life-changing question to Louisa, only to find himself a victim of Vasilia’s jealousy. When Lugaretzia’s daughter Leonora goes into labour, Leslie is forced to become an unlikely midwife.”
If only Leslie could call a midwife instead — alas, that is a BBC show. (Insert phone laugh track here.) This finale should prove rather successful in terms of giving you quite a bit to discuss while waiting to see what the future of the series holds beyond that. Given that there is source material in which the series is based, it is of course interesting to wonder as to if the future of this show is relatively finite. Nonetheless, it still seems fair to anticipate some more interesting drama in the episodes to come, given that we as viewers are not to the point of the big farewell just yet. Expect some happy moments, but also plenty of drama, as well. Like so many other shows on TV at the moment, there is going to be so much more offered over the course of the finale as opposed to just one thing.
