The Bachelorette spotlight: Prosecutor Josiah Graham has a powerful story
Why is that? Much of it starts from the fact that he does have one of the most powerful stories of the entire season. His older brother committed suicide at a young age, and following that, he had to overcome many of his own demons in order to become a successful prosecutor and a pillar of his community. He had his fair share of struggles, but he’s managed to overcome them.
It’s hard to say too much more than that at the moment without seeing the season, but Josiah feels like one of the people who could make it far or be a Bachelor in Paradise contender just because he’s such an easy person to sell to some of the viewers at home. He’s instantly memorable because of his job as a prosecutor, and then also his background.
Will his job be an asset, or an issue to him in the competition? If there is one question to wonder about when it comes to Josiah, it’s probably this given that maybe Rachel feels like she already has enough law in her life. Another issue here could be geography given that this guy seems to be fairly attached to his own community. Why would he leave that and go somewhere else, where he’d have to build up a new reputation and work on getting things going again? Maybe him going on this show is a sign that he is willing to do something like that, but it’s hard to say for sure. Maybe he has a hope that Rachel would move for him.
One way or another, it does feel clear that Josiah is someone who will be a key component in the season for at least the early days. Unless he just comes out and does something terrible, he brings so much that the producers will be found of him, even if Rachel is not.
