Supernatural season 13 premiere date hopes; a Scooby-Doo crossover
After all of this, the idea of there being a show featuring Sam and Dean Winchester alongside Shaggy, Scooby, and the rest of the Mystery Machine gang doesn’t seem all that strange at all. This morning, it was confirmed that this is coming at some point during season 13. How it plays out is not entirely clear yet, but the Scooby Gang is known for being able to track down their fair share of bad guys. (To be clear, though, the better iterations of Scooby-Doo were the ones where there wasn’t actually anything supernatural going on in the world, and the gang was just stopping people wearing creepy masks. The less said about the movie where Scrappy-Doo turned into a hulking villain, the better all of us probably are.)
There is more of a precedent for this with Scooby-Doo than anyone would initially think, given that many years ago, the gang actually did crossovers with the Harlem Globetrotters; more recently, they’ve met up with Batman. Shaggy may actually be better at crossing over between dimensions and worlds than The Flash at this point.
In getting back to one of the original subjects of this article now, Supernatural season 13 is likely going to premiere in early October, much as many past seasons of the show have. Thursday, October 5 and October 12 are the two dates to mark on the calendar right now. The show is staying in the same timeslot that it previously occupied, with one of the big differences now being that it will be airing on the same night as Arrow rather than Riverdale.
